Her Ladyship was growling for her breakfast this morning and sent His Lordship off on a hunting/gathering trip. He duly hopped on the bike and returned shortly afterwards with an impressive haul: three bread rolls, one poppy seed pastry (we are in poppy seed country here), four nectarines, a packet of butter and a fine lump of pâté. These rotten Oldies have spent the last week running around sorting out various vehicles and left me all alone on the window sill, staring out at the roadworks and the rain.
