Great, we’ve finally got moving again. We hopped on a train this morning – another new mode of transport to add to my collection! Unfortunately, we didn’t get too far. I am not a happy camper. In fact, I am not a camper at all. We are back in Austria with no car, no caravan, no bikes and no sign of getting them back for a good while yet. Sunday night, EURO 2016 final, France-Portugal, and Her Ladyship is having hot flushes with the excitement – in spite of the fact that we’re watching the match on HRT2. Another first for me today: I got to ride in a bus! The advice from tourist office in Vsar was not to attempt to cycle to Rovinj, a beautiful old town and fishing port, some 25km away. The road along the Limski Fjord is narrow and winding with a fair amount of traffic so we resorted to public transport. Good move. This is frustrating! The local gull gals are doing their best to chat me up, but I can’t get to grips with their Croatian accent. You’d swear there was a tax on vowels down here. Nice looking chicks though, and they seem to be quite taken with me.
